She traveled far and wide, lived long, and loved hard, in the century she was in our world. Her legacy is in some ways, a model for me to follow. You can say a LOT of things about my Grandma Parker, but two things stands first and foremost in my mind: her personal strength in the face of adversity, and her devotion to my Grandfather, Bob Parker, after his early death in 1957. Grandma's beliefs kept alive her spirit when forced out on her own as an adolescent, and kept alive the certainty that she would be reunited with the "love of her life", Bob Parker, after death.
Rest in peace, Grandma...
