Late last week I turned 5 pounds of tomatoes into many, many zippered freezer bags of Extra Special Salsa, and put all of it in the freezer. That was after I de-stemmed, washed, picked over, bagged, and froze 5 pounds of grapes. I am feeling quite smug and virtuous these days. Today Vini and I turned 5 pounds of tomatoes into many, many zippered freezer bags of Delicious Tomato Chutney, and as soon as it cools down a little, and I add the fresh cilantro and lime juice, I will put all of that in the freezer.
Yesterday I went out into the rain and picked another couple pounds of tomatoes; another day or two of sunshine, and by the weekend I should have another 5 pounds ripe. Next on the To-Do list is Rad Red Pasta Sauce; after that, is Rad Red Pasta Sauce with Zucchini. I think I may dry some of our Love Apples, and then move on to
