Ain't I American?

I read earlier today that there have been calls for President Obama to return his Nobel Peace Prize in light of the fact that he has given orders for our military to engage in war-ish activities in Libya without seeking the approval of Congress or worse, without getting approval from the American People. Apparently without checking with the rest of us, President Obama has determined that "we" are with him on this.
President Obama defended his Nobel Peace Prize on Tuesday, saying that Americans “don’t see any contradiction” in him ordering an attack on Libya to make sure “people aren’t butchered because of a dictator who wants to cling to power.” - from Politico
HA HA HA!

Really?

Uh...no. Actually, it's the O.I.L. and to be perfectly honest, I DO see contradictions! In the future, if you would be so kind, DO NOT SPEAK FOR ME ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE, 'K?

If it were true that we are involved in Libya to make sure "people aren’t butchered because of a dictator who wants to cling to power” President Obama would have authorized the use of American "blood and treasure" in Ivory Coast, Bahrain, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen - and that's just since the beginning of 2011.

Let's stop pretending, shall we, that this is about anything other than OIL? Really, people.
