My contributions to the show, two pieces of assemblage (an artistic process in which a three-dimensional artistic composition is made from putting together found objects), were very, very different from most of the rest of what was on display. I think my assemblage were quite rough and primitive-seeming next to the more traditional watercolors and oil paintings, although they were certainly in keeping with the "Green" theme of the show.
